RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
By submitting your online application and registration form you agree to adhere to the following:
Are you Eligible to Compete?
- Must be a natural born female and a United States citizen.
- Those competing in Teen and Miss must not be married, never have been married, and never have had a marriage annulled.
- Has never posed nude in film or print.
- Must show residency via currently living, working or going to school in your state to be considered as a Miss or Teen state titleholder.
- Must be prepared to commit to a national title pageant or state preliminary to a national title holder to be considered.
- Acknowledges that if selected to represent the House of Grace, they will participate in charitable events, photo ops, speaking events and other platforms as coordinated and directed by House of Grace Pageant organization.
- Neither you nor any member of your immediate family (i.e. mother, father, sister or brother) or anyone living in your household is currently, or has within the last two (2) years been, employed by or an officer, director or agent of any of the following: (i) you, any company or enterprise you own or control, or a company or enterprise under common ownership or control with you; or (ii) us, If any of these conditions change before or during competition at the House of Grace Pageant, you must inform us immediately when you find out about the change, so that we can determine your titleholders eligibility.

Behavior and Sportsmanship
- ALL Contestants, Parents, and Audience members MUST demonstrate good sportsmanship. Any verbal or physical abuse toward contestants or directors before, during, or after the pageant will result in disqualification of the contestant WITHOUT refund.
- We ask that you keep in mind that this is a FAMILY event. At no point is cursing, swearing, drinking, or other distracting behaviors at ANY pageant related event tolerated. Pageant titles, Pageant Sash, and awards will be forfeited by those not adhering to this rule. We are all here to have fun and those that cannot enjoy themselves in a respectable manner will be asked to leave and asked not to return to a House of Grace Pageant production. Registration, Payments and Deadlines
- Regarding payments- I understand that no payments made to the HGP office at any time are refundable or transferable to another party. I understand that by submitting your online application that you waive all right to refund. Each contestant is responsible for their application fee and a minimum $500 sponsorship funding, due 30 days prior to state or national pageant.
Conduct
- I will conduct myself as a role model with dignity at all pageant events including when I give up my crown. All contestants deserve the right to compete, and I will make all of them feel welcome, safe, and part of the group.
- As a representative of the Miss House of Grace Organization, I will be respectful of physical property wherever I go; this includes not sing on items that are not meant for sing, not climbing on items, not wring on items, etc. Any destruction caused, even inadvertent, will be replaced at my expense.
- I agree to treat my crown and banner with the utmost respect. I will not deface my banner in any way; this means, only one pin worn on your banner at any me. No signatures or wring of any kinds is allowed on your banner. I will personally be responsible for purchasing a replacement banner and or crown should mine become defaced, torn, dingy or deemed unpresentable by the Local Director.
- I understand that anything not specifically provided to me by my Miss House of Grace Director is my responsibility to provide.
- I understand that if for any reason my title with the Miss House of Grace Organization is forfeited, I will return my crown, banner and any prizes given within one week of receiving a written notice of my dismissal as queen.
- I understand that I must uphold and embrace the terms of this agreement to the fullest. Failure to do so will result in no longer being invited to attend House of Grace pageant events, wearing my crown and banner to events scheduled on my own, participating in any State Pageant and possibly forfeiture of my title.
Social Media and Marketing
- I understand my Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok personal website or any other public forum will be closely monitored. All material on these pages must be in good taste and show me as a positive role model. Any content deemed inappropriate by the Director must be removed immediately upon receipt of request.
- I grant the Miss House of Grace Organization the right to use my name, image and/or performance for their own use in any manner as deemed necessary in the promotion of our system, without limitation and in perpetuity.
- I agree that whenever the HGP organization “Invites Collaboration” on Instagram that I will accept.
- I agree to list Miss House of Grace in my social media bios as:👑@houseofgracepageant
- I hereby waive any right to approve the finished photography or any copy that might be used in conjunction with the finished photograph/product.
- I agree to embrace and proudly promote the title, and will do so until I pass the title onto my successor.
- I agree to promote my title on social media at events in which I represent the House of Grace and contribute monthly social media content and as requested by the Director, for promoting my reign as HGP titleholder.
Sponsorships and Outreach
- It is my responsibility to contact all sponsors to receive my gifts.
- If I want to forgo a sponsorship, I will submit a written request to the Director. If approved, I will contact the sponsor and kindly decline.
- I will follow through with all sponsor requirements upon accepting my sponsorship/gifts.
Appearances and Events
- I will proudly represent my title and be punctual to all required meetings and events.
- I understand that if I commit to attend an event, my attendance is required.
- If I cannot make it to an event due to a sickness, I will provide proof of my visit to my doctor.
- I understand there is a dress code for every event. If I do not follow the dress code, I will be unable to participate.
- I understand it is my responsibility to provide travel to and from events unless otherwise specified.
- I understand that my guests and I will honor the rules of any venue.
- I understand that the use of cell phones, iPads, laptops or any type of PDA device is strictly prohibited at all events, unless it is not visible or tucked away in a personal bag.
- I will not smoke or consume alcohol at any pageant event, at any me while wearing my crown and/or banner or while representing the Miss House of Grace Organization.
- I will not participate in any interview, photo session, have press contact or publicity of any kind unless a member of the pageant staff is present or has approved my participation.
- I will conduct myself with good manners and grace at all events, including remaining quiet when a speaker is presenting, mingling with the crowd and showing an interest for the charity I am there to serve.
Communication with the Director
- I agree to respond to text messages, emails and phone calls from the Director within 24 hours.
Immediate Forfeiture of Title
- I understand that any misconduct or misrepresentation of myself, the pageant staff or my fellow titleholders, through any form, be it oral, written or by my actions will be grounds for forfeiture of my title without question.
- I understand that the words, actions and behaviors of my friends and family members deemed as rude or inappropriate to any sponsor or member of the Miss House of Grace Organization staff could be grounds for the immediate forfeiture of my title.
- I understand that all claims I make, either as a contestant or queen, may be verified at any me by the Miss House of Grace Organization, and failure to provide verification of claims on my part may result in forfeiture of my title.
- I agree that I will not become pregnant or married during my reign.
- I have not and will not pose nude for any personal use, print or video media or become involved with any sexual materials.
State or National Pageants
(Miss All American, Miss America, Miss USA, Miss United States, Miss Volunteer America)
- House of Grace Pageant will provide 50% of approved state pageant fees.
- I agree to prepare properly and be on me for all state pageant events and be a fully engaged participant.
- I understand that all judges’ decisions are final.
- I will not post or say disparaging remarks before, during or after the state pageant on blogs, chat boards or any other social media. I understand that in doing so, I may be subject to litigation.
- I understand that if I do not show up for the State pageant event that I have agreed to participate in, I may be stripped of my crown and banner and must return those immediately, unless there are extenuating circumstances that are approved by the Miss House of Grace Organization office.
- I agree and understand that even if I win a state or national title during my House of Grace reign, I will continue to include mention of or tagging appropriately
Makeup and Hair Guidelines
•Teen and Miss: Contestants are allowed to wear false eyelashes as long as they are not a distraction from the natural facial beauty of the contestant. Extensions are permitted as long as they are natural looking, and permanently/semi-permanently attached. The makeup policy will be strictly enforced and a makeup check will be conducted.
Payments
•All payments are nonrefundable.
•By submitting the non-refundable application fee, you are entering into a binding agreement with the House of Grace Pageant (HGP). You acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with all HGP Rules, the Code of Conduct, and the full terms outlined in the official HGP Contract. Submission of payment constitutes your legal acceptance of all terms and conditions, whether or not a separate signature is collected.
OTHER GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
•HGP reserves the right to use any of your social media, competition and crowning photos taken as advertising and promotional purposes.
